Get a czech phone number in 3 steps
Telemovél, celular, téléphone portable, mobiltelefon, cellulare or mobilní telefon… we all need one!
Step 1 – Pick up your operator: there are three main mobile phone operators in the Czech Republic – O2, T- Mobile and Vodafone. All of them with pre paid option. Traditionally, most of the Erasmus people get a Vodafone number, the simcard costs 200 CZK and it comes with a credit of 200 CZK.
Step 2- Get a Simcard or Cheap Phone: here, you have two options, If you bring an unblocked cell phone you simple need to buy a simcard for it, OR you can simple buy a cheap phone which already includes a Czech number.
Step 3- Go get your option: Narodni Trida or Namesti Republiky might be the best location in citycenter to get a simcard. Every shop has English speaking people.
