5 original places to visit in Prague!

Erasmus is short and you want to make sure not to miss anything? Here is a list of 5 places you MUST visit during your stay in Prague!

 1. Vzorkovna (The Dog's Bar)

If you are already in Prague, you have probably heard of this unique bar in the very city center. Close by National Theater, you would probably miss the entrance if it was not for the long waiting line. Vzorkovna, or "The Dog's Bar" for the expats, offers a wild atmosphere where everything is allowed. The original concept is to charge the money for drinks on a chip at the entrance (min. 50 CZK), so make sure you have some cash on you.
Every night, there are multiple concerts of various music styles, going from reggae to rock, from classic to alternative and folk, etc. There is also an amateur stage where everyone can show their true colors. There are various bar stands, where you can get a tea, and beer or stronge r liquors. For amateurs of games, you can also play foosball and have another kind of fun. Vzorkovna is famous for its convivial atmosphere, where friends can write their name on the walls, for its funny swings and for the owner's big dogs running free in the place. Similar to the ruins bars in Budapest, Vzorkovna is a unique place, so make sure to pay it a visit!
