Also tired of sitting in a cinema as warblers and fear to manifest any emotions, even when you encounter Satan himself on the screen? Just forget about this weird concept and buy tickets to the Shockproof Film Festival which - in the words of the organizers - provides every year: "A collection of the most impressive, funniest, most remote and most bizarre horrors, extreme, or action movies, b-movies, p-movies and gores."
Miss & Mister Erasmus 2015, March 3, RETRO Music Hall
Despite most of other competitions which are named Miss or Mister, this one is not about beauty. Rather, the laureates have to proof their drinking, dancing and entertaining abilities. Those who will rule the venue can win a trip abroad, money or the legendary Pub Crawl participation!
Student night 2015 // Level 02, March 3, CTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
Not interested in any beauty, nor dance or drinking competitions? Go get some music to CTU. Allurements are such as arcade gaming machines from back to 1973 or tours to CTU rooms where you can’t normally get into. DJs or Xavier Baumaxa will be present on the spot. Admission – free.
Fun Fatale, March 11-15, KD Mlejn
Because of the recent blockbuster, which broke down cinemas around the world, the merger of women and ropes has became a cliché. Festival Fun Fatale shows you what females actually really can do with ropes, in 3D! Festival of new circus Fun Fatale in KD Mlejn will be much more exciting than a screen.
Career Days, March 12 Corinthia Hotel Prague
It would be irresponsible for us to recommend only great parties and festivals in March and forget about the most important aim of your studies - your career! This year's Career Days program promises meetings with managers and CEOs, as well as the opportunity to improve your traits. Future Gate, March 12-15, Bio OKO
The first year of a sci-fi film festival was a great success. So this year, Bio OKO hosts Future Gate no. 2, now in Prague AND Brno (March 26 to 29). This is probably the only occasion you can get out to streets and cinemas dressed in your favorite sci-fi hero costume without being called to a meetin with a psychiatrist, so enjoy it well!
Zizkov Night, March 13-15, Multiple Locations
Zizkov Night has become a strong brand among other music festivals being held in Prague. No wonder, when it will last 2 days this year with hundreds of artists (musicians, poets or actors) performing on more than 30 stages.

Bazaar Festival, March 18-22, Multiple Locations
Physical Theatre has been a blast in the past few years. The proof being a second festival of physical theatre taking place in March, following the already mentioned Fun Fatale festival. Bazaar Festival will be visited by 24 artists from different European countries who are going to attack stages of 4 various institutions throughout Prague.
Febiofest 2015, March 19-27, Cinestar Anděl
12th International Film Festival Febiofest is taking place again at Cinestar multiplex Angel. Maybe you're more accustomed to the similar festivals being held in art-cinemas and theaters. After all, film festivals are mainly about the content rather than about the environment. The technology of Cinestar Anděl will definitely boost the festival’s program!
Dyzajn Market SPRING, March 21-22, The National Theatre plaza
