After there has been a surge of movies offering magic as the central theme in their stories, so now we bringing a list of top movies about magic! And note that these are not only films that include magic, but also those whose premise revolves around illusion, witchcraft, or even wizardry.
9. Oz The Great And Powerful

While the performances are functional and the magical elements inspired, the script is inane and silly at best.
7. Maleficent
Inspired by Charles Perrault's original fairy tale and Walt Disney's 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty. The film portrays the story from the perspective of Disney's most iconic villain and narrates the untold story, depicting the incidents that eventually turned her pure heart to stone.
6. The Craft
One of the most popular movies about witches since the 80s, notable for its realistic portrayal of the consequences of spell-casting. Following the story of four high school girls with incredible powers, the movie features curses, spells, and more than one murder. This teenage coven is not to be messed with.
5. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Meanwhile, the city is being attacked by an Obscurus – a parasitical dark force caused by an individual repressing their magical powers. Well, another amazing story by J.K. Rowling
4. Spirited Away
Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away is the tale of Chihiro, a young girl trapped in the spirit world where Chihiro must work in her bathhouse to free her family and return to the human realm. 3. The Prestige
Though the film features no real magic at all. The Prestige tells the story of rival magicians and their quest to pull of the greatest trick.
